The Steering Group

We are looking into giving MMH a formal structure as a community group. This will allow us to apply for funding, and more consistently deliver events.

To make this happen, we're forming a small Steering Group, and we need 3 volunteers.

 

The Steering Group will:

 

🎪 Brainstorm and help plan this year's MMH Festival (November 2026).

📝 Draft MMH's constitution. This will be a first draft for the wider community to review and formally adopt at the festival itself!

 

What's involved:

 

💻 4 online meetings, 1 hour each

🗓️ Rough schedule: 1 meetings in August, 1 in September, 2 in October (exact dates agreed with the group)

🇬🇧 Volunteers must be UK-based

 

What you'll get:

 

🌟 Credit as co-organiser of MMH Festival across all MMH social media posts

🎟️ Free access to the festival

🤝 The option to stand for election to MMH's organising committee, elected at the festival
