Dalia presented at The Interfaith Families Project on Sunday, October 20th, 2025, as part of their Continuing Education (CE) program. She joined Susan Katz Miller, author of Being Both: Embracing Two Religions in One Interfaith Family, for a conversation on interfaith families in academia.

In this hybrid talk, Susan and Dalia brought together research and lived experience to examine how interfaith identity is studied, and too often overlooked, within academic spaces.

Together, they shared insights from their work encouraging interfaith organisations and academics to genuinely listen to the voices of interfaith family members, rather than speaking about them from the outside. They also explored a powerful breakout topic: how interfaith kids could grow up to change the world.

Susan and Dalia have co-authored "Interfaith Work and Interfaith Families: A Toolkit" which you can download in our dedicated page

MyMixedHeritage is an online project providing a space for interfaith families and individuals, based in the UK. We are not a registered group, nor a charity. We are in the process of drafting our constitution so that we can call ourselves a proper (unincorporated) community group!
