MMH x Unique Community
Beyond talks and speaking engagements, Dalia designs and delivers community-based research projects exploring migration, identity, and interfaith dynamics. Her most recent project, Mother Tongue, was developed with Unique Community, a Harrow-based performing arts organisation working with communities often overlooked by mainstream cultural spaces.

Mother Tongue is an oral history project dedicated to listening to and sharing the stories of Eastern European migrants living in Harrow. Dalia planned, conducted, and recorded the interviews at the heart of the project, gathering personal accounts of migration, belonging, and identity that fed into a wider programme combining oral history with theatre and the arts.
The project sits within Unique Community's 2025 theme, Roots: an exploration of how the communities they work with understand where they come from, and how that shapes where they find themselves today.
